From all the articles I have read regarding getting fit, the first thing to do is to increase metabolism rate. To achieve that, I follow 3 general rules.
- Eat, eat and eat some more
Oh, no, put those chips or chocolate away. I am talking about eating healthy and eating constantly. Turns out it’s rather hard to do. Try to have 4-5 light meals a day. Snack on fruits and veggies but skip the dipping! And you shouldn’t feel stuffed after each meal. (If it’s hard to gauge this, just try half of the amount you normally eat first)
- A quickie in the morning
Every morning, right after you get out of bed, do the following routine. (and you are not off the hook for the day yet!)
My version of the sun salutation is really simple (it’s just to wake up your body). See here:
- Drink water
Make sure you drink 8 glasses of water every day. To increase metabolism even more, try a metabolism boosting drink (click here for recipe).
